About Lexis

Hi, I'm Lexis-- the author of this blog! 

I'm a 23 year old recent graduate from Duquesne University.  I received a Bachelors of Science in Health Management Systems with a Minor in General Business.... But thats not exactly where my story starts.

I started out my college life at Gannon University where I met some of the nicest and most wonderful people.  After I decided I did not want to become a Physician Assistant I decided to transfer to Duquesne University to study Health Management Systems.

I moved back to Pittsburgh and began my journey at Duquesne.  Oh yeah, and I got a cat named Sophie!

I graduated in May 2012 with my degree.  It was seriously one of the happiest moments of my life! After graduation I was offered a full time job as a Systems Analyst.  Basically I help support the applications that hospitals around the Pittsburgh region use to document patient activity.  

These are my two are my best friends in the whole world.  My mom and my sister.  I don't know what I would do without them in my life.  They're the greatest cheerleaders I have ever had.  

I have a serious passion for tie dye.  I'm not really sure where this started but I have so much tie dye its overflowing out of my dresser!

I love road biking around the lake that is near my house.

When I was in high school I learned to Ski and Snowboard and it has become one of my favorite winter activities.  

I'm a really-- really silly person.
